Opal staff and volunteers facilitate a weekly social and recreation group for adults with disabilities. Activities include games, scavenger hunts, crafts, community service projects, and dances. Adults with disabilities are underrepresented in the workplace and often face bullying, and social isolation. Opal’s Adult Group offers opportunities for social and recreational activities in an inclusive environment. This enhances life-skills, social skills, physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and promotes positive friendships.

Occurs on Tuesday evenings from September-May and costs only $2.
